Volunteering
Volunteers are at the heart of all we do at Marmalade Trust
Already a volunteer?
Interested in volunteering with us?
We’re not currently recruiting volunteers, but we’d love to stay in touch. If you’re interested in volunteering in the future, you can sign up below to be the first to hear when new opportunities open.
Volunteering roles at Marmalade Trust are released at different times throughout the year, including our Christmas Cheer project and our Connections programme. Signing up means you won’t miss when applications go live.

What happens when I apply?
Here’s what to expect when volunteering opportunities open:
-
You’ll receive an email when roles open
-
You can register your interest and apply
-
If shortlisted, we’ll be in touch with next steps
If you’re successful, you’ll be invited to complete training before getting started. You can learn more about what this involves in the video above.
Full training is provided, and we’ll support you throughout your volunteering journey so you feel confident every step of the way.
In terms of time commitment, this usually includes two one-hour training sessions (online via MS Teams), followed by around an hour a week. This is typically split between speaking with your project member and researching local activities and support, with resources to guide you.
Once you’re ready, you’ll begin volunteering with our ongoing support throughout the programme.
