From sponsored runs to film nights and cake sales, fundraising is a brilliant way to support our charity.
Your fundraising will raise the money that’s crucial to help Marmalade Trust support some of the loneliest people in our region to make connections and have fun. It will also help us run national and international campaigns to raise awareness about loneliness across all sections of society. And it can be fun and rewarding – you get to choose exactly what you do!
Choose what to do.
You don't have to stick to running, swimming or walking, you can get sponsored for whatever challenge or activity you choose (check out our ideas here!). If you’d rather not go down the sponsorship route, you could hold a cake sale or coffee morning, or make items to sell and donate the proceeds to Marmalade Trust.
Register your event on JustGiving or Facebook.
Head to our fundraising page or make your own on Facebook - it’s easy for you to collect sponsors and donations. If you hold a sale or raise money another way, you can transfer it after the event by clicking this link.
Spread the word.
Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org - We’d love to support you if we can, say thank you, and maybe share your story on our website if you’re happy for us to do so. Shout from the rooftops, use social media, or send an email to tell everyone you know about your fundraiser, and ask them to sponsor you or attend your event.
All that’s left to do is whatever planning you need to complete your fundraiser, and then to enjoy it on the day. Get some photos if you can, and email them to email@example.com. We’d love to see them.
Christmas Cheer fundraising

A few of our fundraising champions...
Sally's Ultra Trail run
Sally Greenland, one of our superstar fundraisers, ran an incredible 46 muddy miles around Bristol to support Marmalade Trust, smashing her £2,000 target!
Amazing Amanda Baldwin walked well over 3,650 miles in 2021, getting outside every day. She raised over £1,300 and spread the word about loneliness on her Instagram page.
Amanda's 365 day challenge
Ruth's trumpet challenge
Ruth Yudkin set herself the challenge of getting to Grade 1 on the jazz trumpet in 3 months. She passed (with a merit!) AND raised a whopping £1,686 for Marmalade Trust!
For his 70th, David hoped to raise £70 to donate to Marmalade Trust. Our mission meant a lot to him and his passion showed - his raised his goal - four times over!
