At Marmalade Trust we understand that Christmas is one of the hardest times of the year for those struggling with loneliness, and this year we feel that it is more important than ever to provide support, social contact and fun for those who will be spending Christmas alone.
As well as providing regular telephone chats and lovely Christmas hampers for our members, they will also receive a Connection Advent Calendar. Our Calendars will take the form of a gift box containing 24 envelopes, with an activity inside for each day – from telephone carol singing to crafts and puzzles. We hope that they will help our members feel connected to their wider community, as well as giving joy, excitement, and a feeling of festive fun!
We would like you to create a beautiful design for the lids of our Connection Advent Boxes!
All designs need to:
Be drawn/painted/collaged onto a sheet of A4 sized paper (210mm x 297mm)
Include the words ‘Marmalade Trust Christmas 2020 Connection Advent Calendar’
Include a drawing of our logo somewhere in your design (example below)
Have your name on (Artwork by ......)

The winning design will be displayed on our website and will decorate the lids of all 200 Connect Advent Calendars, which will be treasured by all our members.
If you can, please scan your artwork and send it to Christmas@marmaladetrust.org or post your designs to: Marmalade Trust, Docklands, St Pauls Settlement, 74-80 City Road, Bristol BS2 8UH. Please include an email address, so that we can let you know if you have won. If you would like us to return your artwork, please provide a stamped, self-addressed envelope.
All entries will need to arrive with us by Tuesday 4th November.
