We are very grateful to LUSH in Bristol's Broadmead shopping centre for holding a charity pot sale for Marmalade Trust in their store over Valentine's weekend this February 2022. Huge thanks to David at LUSH for setting this up with us and to Marmalade volunteer, Alison, for hosting our stall - thank you!
Charity Pots are a body lotion produced by LUSH that does a lot of good – and not just to your skin. With every purchase, LUSH donate 100% of the price to small, grassroots organisations like us, Marmalade Trust.
Each Charity Pot sold for £1. We were thrilled to hear that a fabulous LUSH staff member managed to sell 115 pots in just one day! Amazing.
It was a great weekend, with many charity pots sold in store, and with many new connections made. Some of whom, we hope, may go on to become Marmalade volunteers themselves.
Just letting you know that we managed to raise an amazing £523.21 for our charity! We are so happy that the event took off really well, lots of people seemed to be interested in learning more about the Marmalade Trust."
